Never satisfied with the status quo, Meg McKeen, a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and licensed independent insurance agent, launched Adjunct Advisors LLC to help insurance sales professionals to see success more quickly and find their own unique voice in an industry that is ripe for change.

With 20 years of experience on both the insurance carrier and independent agency sides of the business, Meg leverages her strong technical background, keen interpersonal skills and leadership acumen in every interaction with her clients - replacing fear and confusion with confidence.

Early career insurance sales professionals gain mentorship support through the innovative development program, BEGIN. This robust solution leverages Meg’s extensive experience in working both as an underwriter and agent herself - helping producers see success more quickly.

Both new and seasoned sales professionals also benefit from the on-site, workshop-style learning events Meg facilitates, focusing on the utilization of modern sales techniques to enhance proven sales methods. Highly interactive and engaging, customized content is delivered in a candid and authentic style.

Agency principals wear many hats - and when a need in the business arises they they aren’t equipped to navigate, they call on Meg to consult in a variety of areas, including identifying avenues for growth, niche market strategies, social media management, evaluating and improving business processes, and managing carrier relationships.

A graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University and resident of Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood, when she’s not helping business professionals navigate the insurance world, you can find Meg putting the “practice” into yoga practice, searching for the best vegan burger, or enjoying live music and the wonder that is Chicago’s lakefront.
