This intimate, in-person gathering is curated to provide connection and support to women in the insurance industry in a highly accessible way. It is open to a woman regardless of her role or title or tenure, is low-cost, hyper-local, and does not require extensive time away from work or family. Join us as we take the conversations we're already having on the podcast and invite you to participate in them, too.

Our Meeting Place
We’ll be gathering at Glassnote Candle Bar. Created with one intention: to bring people together, to slow down, share a moment, and craft a scent that’s truly your own, Glassnote’s flagship building has a long and creative history. It was once home to makers, tool builders, artists, and even antique collectors. Living and working in that space, surrounded by the energy of people who built things with their hands, pushed Glassnote’s founder to carry on that tradition in his own way. As the idea grew and life shifted, the vision became clear: a place where anyone could learn the art of candle making and feel part of something meaningful. Everything you see today was crafted with care by the Glassnote team and designed to make you feel at home the moment you walk in.

Meet your host, Meg McKeen
Meg McKeen is the principal consultant of Adjunct Advisors LLC, a consultancy she founded in 2018 with the simple belief that we can and must do more to support the individuals who choose a career in insurance. Her work for more than 26 years in the industry spans roles in underwriting, leadership, and sales, and fuels her work as a consultant today, in which Meg holds space, at the crossroads of personal and professional development, for insurance professionals as they grow their sales and leadership acumen and for organizations as they navigate cultural change. Meet our guest, Jennifer DeGeorge
Jennifer DeGeorge is a Senior Client Manager – Property & Casualty with Hausmann Group in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Jen fell into the Insurance Industry 10 years ago - also falling in love with the ability to build partnerships with clients, making commercial insurance a little less daunting with a smile, an educational approach, and forward thinking. Jen has been fortunate to serve as Chair for the PIA of Wisconsin’s Young Professionals in Insurance committee and is dedicated to connecting and developing young insurance professionals while growing our industry. Along the way Jen has been honored to receive the Wisconsin 2023 Outstanding Customer Service Representative of the Year award from the Risk & Insurance Education Alliance and the 2024 Customer Service Representative of the Year award from the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents. Jen is committed to showing up as her sober, tattooed, passionate authentic self - on a mission to change the perception of the insurance industry, one positive interaction at a time.
