Included in our engagement

  • Professional moderation of a panel-style conversation, one hour in duration and in person, featuring up to four women in insurance. If you need it, Meg will assist with panelist selection.

  • Optional: an open-forum live Q&A with panelists and audience members following the panel conversation.

  • In preparation for your event, Meg will coordinate and lead a virtual panel preparation session, approximately 2 weeks before your event date. This allows panelists to begin to build camaraderie, ask questions, calm any nerves, and weigh in on the topics that will be discussed.

  • Prior to the event, Meg will promote her involvement with your event twice on social media (LinkedIn, Facebook), once in the monthly newsletter she curates, and in one promotional spot on the podcast she hosts.

  • As schedules and interest allow, Meg is available to participate in other activities as part of your event.

a fee applies for this engagement. Don’t have room in your budget? Consider securing a sponsorship from an insurance organization supporting women in insurance in your community.

why a panel of women in insurance?

Industry conference agendas can feel stale - but they don’t have to. Unlike a lecture-style keynote, panel-style conversations are unscripted and conversational, giving audience members the chance to listen in for wisdom, stories, anecdotes, and ideas that meet them exactly where they are. The women featured on a panel also have the opportunity to build their own thought leadership and grow their confidence in public speaking. If yours is an organization supporting the success of women in insurance, holding space for these conversations highlights your commitment to doing just that.

WHAT OTHERS HAVE TO SAY

We were so lucky to have had Meg McKeen organize our inaugural Women’s Conference. She was exactly what we needed and our reviews were all over-the-top for the event. She is someone to put on your radar if you haven’t already.
— Mike Chrysler, EVP, Independent Insurance Agents of South Dakota
Meg moderated a women’s panel for the Cincinnati Insurance Board that included three women who had seen different times in our industry and have risen up in their companies as true leaders. The way that Meg brought out stories that some maybe didn’t even know needed to be told while showing compassion and empathy is a true gift. She has grace and can turn a large room full of people into a safe place for any panelist and for everyone in the audience. We have had requests to bring her back already! Meg’s gift of story-telling and pulling stories from those to share with the world is truly a unique experience.
— Erin Keller, President, Cincinnati Insurance Board
If you own or manage an organization that includes women in your employment or membership ranks, Meg McKeen will add tremendous value to your time spent in a meeting environment. Meg has the ability to draw the best out of participants and provide meaningful value for attendees.

Recently, as the EVP of a State Insurance Association, I hired Meg to build out and moderate a panel discussion of “Women in Insurance”. I provided five insurance women with varying backgrounds for the panel and Meg took full control of interviewing them and prepping them prior to the panel discussion. During the panel discussion Meg asked meaningful questions about each of their careers (both successes and challenges) which allowed the panelists to showcase their career and the challenges they have had to overcome to succeed. The panelists and the audience all benefited from the process.

Since our Association is comprised of almost 80% women employees, managers and owners, the value proposition of this panel discussion was spot on.

I would recommend Meg McKeen of Adjunct Advisors for just about any function in the insurance world regarding constant improvement for your firm or organization. Her past insurance experience provides her with the insight to lead projects of any nature designed to bring the best out of your staff or your members. Your investment, both time and financial, will be well spent.
— Ken Hauck, CIC, ARM, Past EVP, Association of Wyoming Insurance Agents
Thank you so much for hosting our women’s panel discussion and making all of us on the panel feel at ease after we looked into a room full of our peers, our bosses and way more men than we anticipated being in there. Sitting down with you on a panel feels like sitting with a friend and just chatting.
— Missy Bosch, Director of Risk Placement, McKinneyOlson Insurance
