The band is back together! It’s been a year since Meg’s travels brought her to Portland for a morning of connection and conversation with Tracey Heeter Allen and a group or women in insurance. We couldn’t miss this chance to reconnect - and we’d love for you to join us.
If you work in insurance - in any role, in any stage of your career - you're warmly invited to join us for a small, relaxed afternoon gathering over coffee. There's no formal agenda to follow, nothing to sell, and no pressure on you to have it all figured out.
While we’ll be our facilitators - to help the conversation flow - this is an informal experience, like a good conversation that happens to have some intentional space around it. The kind of conversations that might be hard to have at the office, but feel a little gentler when you're sitting alongside someone who's navigating similar things, too.

Meet your host, co-hosts, Tracey Heeter Allen and Meg McKeen
Celebrating her 27th year in the insurance industry Meg McKeen (on the left!) founded Adjunct Advisors LLC in 2018 with the essential belief that we can do more, and better, to support the professionals who choose a career here. As an independent consultant, Meg now holds space at the crossroads of personal and professional development, for individuals and organizations as they grow their sales and leadership acumen through private coaching, consulting engagements, and the podcast she hosts, Bound & Determined℠.
Meg is currently a digital nomad in the midst of a thoughtful travel adventure. When she’s not supporting insurance professionals, you can find Meg putting the “practice” into yoga practice, searching for the best vegan bakery, or cheering on her favorite independent musicians.
After a 30+ year career in the employee benefits field, Tracey Heeter Allen (on the right!) made a career pivot to focus on supporting the employee benefits industry as an entrepreneur. When you hire Tracey, you’ll find she’s an empathetic and intuitive partner. Passionate about the customer experience and work-life integration, Tracey brings sage guidance and support to individuals, teams, and employers. In her spare time, Tracey spends time with her teen, her pup Maddy, and her two cats, Bruno and Pink.
